BACHELORETTE PARTY GUIDE | NASHVILLE, TN

PLANNING FOR THE WEEKEND

My best friend recently had her Bachelorette party in Nashville, Tennessee. I thought I would share some highlights from the weekend with you all! Planning a Bachelorette weekend is no easy task. It took a lot of team work and hard preparation months prior to the actual weekend. I volunteered to decorate the house and put together the welcome gift bags for everyone. This is actually something I really enjoy doing so I tried to go all out with it!

A Look Inside the Goodie Bags:

bachelorette weekend in nashville

WHERE WE ATE:

  • Butchertown Hall: We ate here for lunch during our first day in Nashville. They had delicious food and a fun atmosphere that was definitely "Instagram worthy". Highly recommended!

  • 5th & Taylor: Our group had dinner here on Saturday night. It was definitely on the more pricey side, but they had great food and awesome craft cocktails. Be sure to book your reservation beforehand!

  • BrickTops: A few of us went here for brunch on the last day before heading out. It was fabulous! I ordered the avocado toast but I tasted a few other dishes and they were all great!

WHERE WE STAYED:

Since we had a fairly large group (11 girls total) we decided to rent an Airbnb. This was by far the best decision and most cost effective option. We all really loved our little house for the weekend, it was in the perfect location and gave us lots of extra space for activities.

WHAT WE DID:

  • Lingerie Shower: Each girl brought the bride a gift to open (either lingerie or pajamas). It was so much fun watching the bride open each gift and seeing her reactions! This is a great bachelorette party idea especially if you won't be able to make it to the bride's actual wedding showers.

  • Party Games: We played a few fun party games after the lingerie shower!

    • "Who Knows the Bride Best": In this game, we all answered questions about the bride and whoever got the most correct was the winner.

    • "He Said, She Said": This game consisted of statements in which we had to guess whether the answer was the bride or the groom. Some examples include "I'm the funny one" or "I'm more romantic".

    • "Porn or Polish": We were given a list of very questionable names and we had to guess whether it was the name of a nail polish color or a porno. Honestly this game was hysterical and we all had a lot of fun with it.

    • "How well does the groom know the bride": We had the groom answer a series of questions beforehand and then we had all the girls answer these same questions. Finally, the bride filled out the sheet and we all compared answers.

The winners of these games received "prizes" which actually turned out to be smirnoff ice's. We all chugged the drinks and it was a pretty funny sight to see!

  • Honky Tonk Party Express: We rode around Nashville on a party barge complete with a DJ blasting our favorite songs and a bartender serving us drinks. We danced and sang out hearts out while everyone on the street was watching us. We honestly felt like celebrities with all the people pointing, waving and snapping pictures! We may have looked a little silly but we we're having SO much fun that we didn't care!

  • Bars on Broadway: No trip to Nashville is complete without a night out on Broadway. We bar hopped a good bit but ended up at FGL House where we spent a majority of our night. This bar was MASSIVE and offered something for just about everyone. One floor is a restaurant, the next is a karaoke bar, the basement a nightclub... You get the picture. We had a blast here singing our favorite country songs and dancing all night long!
