NASHVILLE BESTIE TRIP WITH THE AC HOTEL BRENTWOOD

I’ve visited Nashville, Tennessee more times than I can count and it’s truly such a special place! I always have the best time and leave with so many great memories, but I will say - There’s nothing quite like a Nashville trip with your bestie! A few weekends ago Madison and I had the opportunity to take a girls trip to experience the brand new AC Hotel in Brentwood, Tennessee.

ABOUT THE AC HOTEL BRENTWOOD:

The day we arrived was opening day of the hotel and it was such a neat experience getting to be one of the very first guests to stay at the property. Upon arriving, the first thing I noticed was how nice, clean and modern the decor was. Everything was gorgeous and we couldn’t wait to explore the property further!

But first - cocktail hour! What better way to start out a besties weekend than with a few of the AC’s signature drinks. We were so excited to try out all of the specialty items that the AC Hotels are known for. The bar and lounge set up at the new property was absolutely stunning. In addition, the staff and bartenders were absolutely amazing and were so knowledgeable about everything on the menu. We learned that The AC Hotels have their very own Custom Tonic Syrup that you can’t find anywhere else. Even if you don’t love Gin & Tonics, trust me - You will love this one! It was truly one of the best drinks we’ve ever had and we’re already talking about going back for more soon. I would also recommend the Espresso Martini and the Bloody Martini, so unique! We also tried several tapas including: The Crispy Potatoes, Artisanal Ham and Cheese Plate and the Ricotta Toast - Which were all delicious. If you also have time to check out their breakfast spread, you will not regret it! They had so many great options and everything was extremely fresh. Additionally, for a change of scenery they also have a rooftop bar where you can enjoy their tapas and cocktails.

THE ROOMS:

After a few cocktails and tapas we were ready to check out the room - Which was extremely spacious and very clean with a large, comfy bed! The bathroom had a huge shower and a well-lit vanity mirror. We absolutely LOVED all of the modern fixtures and the smart TV was a great added amenity. We spent the night in the room watching movies, eating Thai food and catching up on life!

THE AMENITIES:

A few of my favorite amenities that the hotel offered (other than the restaurant and bar) was the grab-and-go shop located next to the front desk in the lobby - They had a large selection of snacks and drinks which was very convenient. Also, the hydration station that was located right around the corner from our room. I always bring my water bottle with me when I travel, so I really appreciated this one! The hotel also offers free parking which is always a plus.

THE LOCATION:

The hotel location couldn’t have been better!! It was merely steps away from a huge shopping center with restaurants, retail stores, blowout bars and more - Lululemon & Jeni’s Ice Cream just to name a few. The first night of our trip, we walked around the corner to a yummy Thai spot and brought food back to our room - It was so convenient! The location of the AC Hotel Brentwood is so ideal, safe and family friendly.

WHAT WE DID:

On Saturday morning we got dressed as fast as we could to head over to the Loveless Café. It was such a beautiful drive from the hotel to this Nashville hot spot. This restaurant has been around for over 65 years and after you try their food and enjoy the atmosphere, you will understand why. They make the most delicious homemade southern dishes. Everything on the menu made our mouths water - Seriously DELICIOUS! We ordered the Country Breakfast Bowl and Blueberry Pancakes. WOW! YUM! I’m truly speechless, I will for sure be dreaming about this dish for years to come. The Loveless Cafe is a very family friendly restaurant, but they also serve adult beverages, so you know we had to get a mimosa (or two)! I could not recommend this restaurant enough, the southern hospitality made our morning. You should definitely check out the Loveless Cafe next time you are in town!

After we went to breakfast, we geared up for a fabulous private tour of the Gibson Garage. It is one of the coolest things we did in Nashville. We learned all about the history of the guitars featured in the store and got all the details about the local merchandise specially made for this specific store. This place is seriously so neat, they even have a stage inside and they regularly have shows where well-known artists come to perform. After we toured the front of the store we got a private tour of the back lounge. You have to check out some of the pictures from the space in this post. So many music legends have sat in this space and it was extremely cool to experience. They use this space to conduct meetings and record music. Plus, some of the most expensive guitars are held in this space in Nashville! Definitely a must see when you go to visit!
